Our effort is to enhance your knowledge of India - the land and its people, its dynamic economy, history and culture and its place in today's world. We would also like to bring to your attention the services we offer at the Embassy.

India established diplomatic relations with the Slovak Republic in 1993 immediately following Slovakia’s independence and opened a resident Embassy in Bratislava in August 1995. Our relations are warm and friendly. The volume of bilateral trade has been on the rise and reached € 275.6 million in 2011. Indian cultural troupes have been visiting Slovakia regularly to share with the Slovak people our diverse artistic traditions. There is growing interaction among our peoples, both in business and tourism.
